Aaj mere yaar ki shaadi hai

Today’s post is dedicated to a very beautiful and most happiest bride I have ever seen – Deepika(My crack friend). Beautiful cause she is beauty and happiest cause I could see her dancing with her husband in her Mind(Even I was dancing in my inner senses)

Yesterday and today all I wanted was to be with the bride but the whole Universe was conspiring against me, it seems. I end up so busy at work that I miss all the functions and also reach the mandap after everything is over(what the hell). But Deepika is too happy playing the bride’s role that she forgives me(Yuhuuu).

Is it a coincidence that I pass by my junior college(where we studied together) just after attending Deepika’s wedding or is it like we have completed a circle of some sorts. I do not know. I remember the day I offered to drop Deepika home after classes as she stayed near mine and that’s how our journey began. Picking her up for college or dropping her home was a routine then. Standing in front of her home and buzzing horn three times was the signal for her to come out,and then we would stand and talk for eternity. In all these years no matter I celebrate Friendships day or not Deepika never forgets to buy a friendship band for me.

I am so happy to see her in Bride’s attire, knowing what all she has gone through to get married to the man she loves. I only hope she has a happy ever after, and no this isn’t The End its a New Beginning.

Bhagwanji pls sambhaal liyo, ladki thodi crack hai.

P.s Sanjay if you are reading this, you better take care of my friend.(okay, I know you Love her more)

Accidentally remembrance

Accidents, we all have had one or seen one. And no matter how unfortunate it is we cannot do anything about it.I remember mine, it was just a fraction of second when I crashed my two wheeler into a divider (I was driving too fast and taking a turn without slowing down and boom) and injuring my right wrist badly.I know you are wondering why on Earth one would discuss accidents. Today’s date reminded me of one.

25 yrs back on this day my father had a major accident. He had to undergo a surgery too for that.the very day his younger brother was getting married and he was in the hospital. I was a month old baby at that time. This accident was a major one because he had to stay at home more than a month (or two) to be healed completely and during which he had to quit his job as a sales person at a garment shop.

After recovering he could have gone back to his job but instead he chose to start something new . Something changed after the accident. The change was for good. They say whatever happens, happens for good. Yes, my Father worked hard, worked day and night (he still does) and reached where he is today. Not just he started a business but he also made two of his brothers (he has 6 brothers) partners in the very same business. I somehow feel, if this accident hadn’t occurred he wouldn’t have quit his job so early.May be this is the way it was supposed to happen. Or May be I am over thinking . whatever,  I am just happy the accident wasn’t worse.

P.S Drive responsibly.
Not everyone is lucky.
